Educational Program

Specialty « General Medicine »

The main educational program of higher professional education in the specialty “General Medicine” (for foreign citizens), implemented at the International School of Medicine of the NCEI ESPC “IUK”, is a set of documents developed and approved by the university, taking into account the state educational standard of higher professional education in the relevant specialty, taking into account the requirements of the national and international labor market.

Residency

Residency is part of a multi-level system of higher professional education of medical workers and in-depth postgraduate training of graduates of higher educational institutions in the field of medicine by the approved program of medical specialties. Residency at ISM IUK operates in a structural unit of the university – the Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (MAPE) ISM IUK. The Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (MAPE) ISM IUK conducts training for residents in the following areas: 050 Cardiology (cardiologist) – 3 years of study 149 Endocrinology (endocrinologist) – 3 years of study 128 Traumatology and orthopedics (traumatologist and orthopedist) – 3 years of study 084 Public Health (Public Health Doctor) – 2 years of study 143 Surgery (surgeon) – 3 years of study

Postgraduate studies

Postgraduate studies are the main form of training for scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel. Postgraduate training at ISM is carried out in full-time (3 years) and part-time (4 years) forms. During training, a graduate student must complete an individual curriculum and publish articles in peer-reviewed journals. The result of completing a postgraduate course is the completion of dissertation work with a public defense of the dissertation in the appropriate dissertation council. Academic degree: Graduate student Form of study: full-time Standard training period years – full-time postgraduate study based on higher medical education ISM IUK conducts training for postgraduate students in the following scientific specialties: 03.11- Regenerative medicine, physical therapy, sports medicine, balneology and physiotherapy; 01.30 — Gerontology and geriatrics; 03.09 — Clinical immunology, allergology (medical and biological sciences). 02.03. – Public health and healthcare. Admission to graduate school ISM IUK Graduates of an educational organization of higher professional medical education are accepted for postgraduate study at the NCEI ESPC “IUK”.

Doctoral studies

Postgraduate and doctoral studies Ph.D. is a structural unit of the National Educational Institution of Scientific and Practical Education “International University of Kyrgyzstan” for the training of highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel. PhD mission is to prepare researchers to achieve scientific results for the benefit of the development of society in the context of modern global trends. The goal of the Ph.D. is to prepare, taking into account the country’s development prospects, competitive, highly qualified scientific, pedagogical, and scientific personnel with high spiritual and moral qualities, capable of independent thinking and ensuring the progressive scientific, technical, socio-economic, and cultural development of society.
